Yes indeed, it is most definitely tornado season here in Texas! The events of last week’s Fort Worth tornado served as a pretty good reminder that we live smack dab in the middle of Tornado Alley and anything goes during this season.
Inevitably when tornado season is upon us one of the first damages that we incur is damage to our windshield or window glass. A flying rock or tree branch will put a chip in our car glass and from then on it’s just a matter of time before the crack spreads and the windshield or glass is useless and needs to be replaced.
Worse still is if a tree branch or tree falls on our vehicle. Let’s just hope and pray that doesn’t happen to any of us but if it does we have the perfect solution. Why don’t you come on down to All Import Auto Parts and pick up some replacement glass?
Do you have any idea what a replacement windshield for a Lexus costs? How about a replacement side window for a Lexus or rear window? We can tell you from experience that the cost of the auto glass plus installment is going to cost you a minimum of a couple hundred dollars and quite possibly more depending on the make and model of your vehicle.
But there is an alternative and it is a much better alternative for sure. Head on down to your favorite Fort Worth salvage yard and pick up some replacement glass at savings of up to 50%. Then take it home and install it yourself or have your son-in-law or best friend do it for you. Chances are excellent that you can do the whole replacement thing for under $100 and wouldn’t that be cool?
We know what you are going to say….it’s only a little ding; it isn’t worth worrying about. Well, let us tell you that the vibrations from an operating vehicle will make that little ding into a large series of spider webs in a matter of weeks. You can either fix it now or fix it later but it’s still going to cost you the same amount so you might as well take care of it now so you can see all summer.
Come on down to All Import Auto Parts and let us fix you up with the replacement auto glass that you need. And while you are at it say a prayer that we aren’t visited by any more of those twisters this summer.
