Just when you think Toyota can’t do any better in sales, they go and have their best sales month in six years.
Automotive giant Toyota Motors U.S.A. recently released sales figures for May 2014, and they have managed to exceed all expectations. Sales for May 2014 were 243,236 units sold, an increase of 12.6 percent over May 2013. This is in line with other automakers who reported May as being their best month in years. Experts say that consumer confidence is high, and that demand for new vehicles continues to strengthen.
The Toyota increase was led by strong postings by Camry, Corolla, and of course the Hybrid sales led by Prius. Their luxury brand, Lexus, also posted record May sales, following a trend where luxury vehicles continue to outsell in the overall industry.
Some highlights for Toyota in May 2014 include:
$1· Camry was up over 26 percent
$1· Corolla was up 30.8 percent, the best since August 2009
$1· Hybrids were up 9 percent
$1· Prius was up 14 percent
$1· Toyota trucks showed an increase of 11 percent
$1· RAV4 leads truck sales, up 13 percent
$1· Sienna was up 13 percent
$1· Tundra showed an increase of 14.5 percent
$1· Lexus brand was up 21 percent
Toyota, as many of you know, is the world’s leading auto maker, and their brands include Toyota, Lexus, and Scion. During the past fifty years, Toyota has built over 50 million cars and trucks in the United States, where they operate fourteen manufacturing plants and employ over 40,000 people. They have 1,800 Toyota dealerships in North America.
And get this: over 80 percent of all Toyota vehicles sold over the past twenty years are still on the road today. That, my friends, is reliability and craftsmanship.
And while we are talking about reliability, let’s talk about a great place to buy your Toyota replacement parts. That place would be All Import Auto Parts, a leader in recycled auto parts. There you can find anything you need for your Toyota and at a price you can afford. Engines, transmissions, brakes, you name it, and All Import Auto Parts has it.
Why pay more for new auto parts when quality used car parts are available at All Import? It just makes good sense in this economy to save money and be able to shop with confidence at the same time.
Toyota vehicles and All Import Auto Parts…a winning combination.
