Just when it looked like things couldn’t get any better for Subaru of America, they turn around and blow off the roof with another fantastic month.
July 2015 was the best-ever sales month in Subaru history. Let’s repeat that….the best ever.
Subaru America showed a 10.5 percent increase over July 2014 with 50,517 vehicles sold. This also marks the 44th consecutive months when Subaru America has beaten the previous year’s sales for that month, and so far to date Subaru America is up 13.8 percent over the same sales period for 2014.
To say things are going well for them would be a gross understatement.
Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operation officer of Subaru of America stated” “We are delighted to have achieved a new monthly sales record. We would not have been able to achieve our current level of success without the hard work and dedication of our retailers, employees and independent distributors.”
We suspect Mr. Doll is being a bit humble in that statement, because what he is leaving out is the fact that Subaru just happens to make an incredible product that meets the needs of American drivers.
The sales record was the result of several impressive performances by these models:
$1·Â Â Â Â Â Forester up 8.9 percent
$1·Â Â Â Â Â Impreza up 21.6 percent
$1·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â WRX/STI up 85.3 percent
$1·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â XV Crosstrek up 29.9 percent
Subaru of America is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries of Japan.  It markets and sells Subarus in 620 retailers across the United States. They are proud of the fact that all Subaru facilities are located on zero-landfill production plants and Subaru of Indiana is the only U.S. automobile production plant to be designated a backyard wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
And they make great cars and SUVs.
And they make great Subaru replacement parts.
Here’s the thing about Subaru’s: They just might be the best all-weather vehicle in the United States; at least they are viewed that way by the buying public, and in marketing, image is everything. But their resale is also strong, which points in the direction, one again, that the Subaru product is a reliable product, the result of excellent craftsmanship. It is a comfortable ride, a safe ride and a ride that will get you from Point A to Point B in all kinds of weather.
